Multi Lab
My class (and the class next door) LOVE the data loggers. We held the probes near the air conditioner, took it outside in the shade and in the direct sun, and 2 boys even took theirs up to the ladies in the office and asked if they could hold the probes in their refrigerator for a minute!
The graphs were saved and will be imported into their Eduweb homepages next week.
I will get photos tomorrow!

The data loggers are possibly my favourite aspect of the NOVAs. My class (the class next door!) certainly find these very useful and interesting t use. It has caused a lot of discussion in various activities between students as to the best way to use these, e.g. setting up number of samples/second, and duration of sample. We have found different settings are certainly important for different things.
However, it is also important to check with the accuracy of the calibrations in the settings, because so far we have found the pH to be less reliable than using pH strips to test acidity. It was certainly an interesting excercise cross checking these things and discussing why this may be so!
